Can you make the father of a child have a paternity test for anything other than maintenance and make him pay the costs?



I know that the person i want to have a paternity test is 100% father of my child but he has doubts although he pays maintenance and has sighned his birthcertificate. He had a little to do with our son when he was young but not a lot had other kids that are treated much better by him his family etc relations my son and i have put up with alot of abuse and my son has been treated badly by his fathers x wifes family whoall try and say hes not his fathers son psychologically not good for him being treated alike an outcast and ignored by his father can you help i would like a legal letter sent out requesting a test is done to his father that a test is done not for me cause i know the outcome but for my sons sake and there is no doubts can i get any help this is a race issue to i beleive
